The 59 Celebration

Every Year, on January 25th, Robert Burns Lodge number 59 will join with a world celebrated event and hold it’s famous Robert Burns Birthday celebration. Our 59 Celebration. Robert Burns was born on January 25, 5759 also the number of our Lodge. This celebration is one that all members of the Lodge are always looking forward to. It will be open to close family and friends on invitation only. The attendees are requested to dress-up in the 5730-5780 fashion “Rococo Style“. Creation of a Masonic club

As the stars shine bright in the glitzy city of Las Vegas, a group of brethren gather together, inspired by a shared vision. These enlightened souls engage in spirited discourse, fueled by their passion for Masonry and a desire to create something new and unique. A new masonic Lodge in Las Vegas. Their conversations lead to the formation of a Masonic club, a haven where they can deepen their knowledge and bond with like-minded individuals.

The club’s humble beginnings take root in the warmth of a brother’s abode, where the group convenes to lay the foundation for their grand endeavor. They brainstorm and plan, fueled by the fire of their Masonic spirit, as they dream of a future Lodge, located in Summerlin, that shall bring together a community of dedicated and passionate individuals.

From these modest beginnings, the Masonic club shall grow and flourish, a testament to the power of brotherhood and the unyielding determination of those who seek to make a difference. Their journey has just begun, and they shall travel it with steadfast resolve and unbreakable bonds.


Granted Under Dispensation Status

After years of tireless dedication, unwavering commitment, and a deep love for the Masonic craft, the Club’s dream is finally realized. The Grand Lodge has granted them the coveted Under Dispensation status, a significant milestone in their journey towards becoming a fully-fledged Lodge. The first masonic Lodge in Summerlin, Las Vegas.

This momentous occasion is a testament to the hard work, sacrifice, and perseverance of the brethren who have dedicated themselves to this noble pursuit. The air is thick with a sense of triumph and joy, as the brethren revel in the fruits of their labor.

The Lodge Receives it's Charter

The day has arrived when the Lodge’s journey reaches a momentous milestone. After two years of hard work, dedication, and unyielding perseverance, the Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of Nevada grants the Lodge its Charter. It is made official, Freemasonry will be present in Summerlin, Las Vegas. The significance of this achievement is not lost on the brethren, as they understand the immense honor and responsibility that comes with this new status.

Fate smiles upon the Lodge, gifting them with the number 59, a nod to the birth year of their namesake, Robert Burns, in the year 5759 A.L. or 1759 A.D. This number holds great significance for the brethren, a symbol of the Lodge’s unwavering commitment to the Masonic ideals and principles.

First Table Lodge

On a crisp autumn evening, the brethren of Robert Burns Lodge gather together to celebrate a momentous occasion – the Lodge’s first ever Table Lodge. The date is September 15th, 6022, and the air is thick with excitement and anticipation.

The Masonic Banquet is held in a private room adjacent to a Summerlin Tavern, a nod to the ancient brethren who would meet above Taverns and Public Houses. The setting is perfect, with the warm glow of candlelight creating a cozy and intimate atmosphere. The brethren are dressed in their finest regalia, each member radiating with pride and dignity.

The Table Lodge is a beautiful and elaborate ceremony, filled with tradition and symbolism. The brethren raise their glasses in unison, toasting to the health and prosperity of the Lodge and its members. The room is filled with the sounds of laughter and joy, as the brethren enjoy the delicious fare and drink.

As the evening wears on, the brethren continue to bond and share stories, united in their commitment to the Masonic ideals. The first Table Lodge is a resounding success, a testament to the strength and brotherhood of the Lodge. First Entereed Apprentice Degree as a Chartered Lodge

The brethren of Robert Burns Lodge eagerly gather together, brimming with excitement and anticipation for a historic moment – the Lodge’s first Entered Apprentice Degree as a Chartered Lodge. The date is September 29th, 6022, and the Lodge is abuzz with activity.

The candidates are prepared and ready for initiation, nerves and excitement palpable in the air. The brethren are adorned in their finest regalia, each member radiating with pride and reverence for the ceremony about to unfold.

As the ritual begins, the room is filled with a sense of awe and wonder. The words and symbols of the ceremony are ancient and mystical, carrying with them a deep significance that resonates with each member of the Lodge. The brethren move with precision and purpose, carrying out the time-honored traditions of the craft with reverence and respect.

The candidates are initiated with care and attention, their every step guided by the wisdom and experience of the brethren. The Lodge is a well-oiled machine, each member playing their part with poise and confidence.

First Public Speaker event

The anticipation was palpable as the brethren of Robert Burns Lodge eagerly awaited their first public speaker event. The date was October 20th, 6022, and the Las Vegas Lodge was honored to receive a distinguished guest from Washington D.C.

Brother Andrew Hammer, a renowned Masonic author and member of Alba Lodge No. 222 (pronounced two, two, two), as well as the Masonic Restoration Foundation, flew all the way to our beautiful city of Las Vegas, Nevada, to deliver a captivating speech on observant Lodges. The Lodge was abuzz with excitement, as the brethren settled in to listen to Brother Hammer’s words of wisdom and experience.

As Brother Hammer began to speak, the room was filled with a sense of reverence and respect. His words carried with them a weight and importance that left a lasting impression on all those in attendance. The brethren hung on his every word, soaking up his knowledge and insight with a deep sense of appreciation.

As the speech drew to a close, the brethren were left with a newfound sense of inspiration and motivation. Brother Hammer’s words had struck a chord with each member of the Las Vegas Lodge, reminding them of the importance of their craft and the significance of their work.

The first public speaker event had been a resounding success, setting the stage for future events and solidifying the Lodge’s commitment to education, growth, and brotherhood.


First Honorary Member

With Brother Andrew Hammer’s visit to Robert Burns Lodge No.59 on October 20th, 6022, he left an indelible mark on the hearts and minds of the brethren. As a gesture of appreciation and gratitude for his enlightening speech, the Lodge voted unanimously to elect him as its first Honorary Member.

The news spread quickly throughout the Masonic community, and many expressed their admiration for the Lodge’s decision. With this significant honor bestowed upon Brother Hammer, the Lodge had set a high standard for future Honorary Members.

The brethren of Robert Burns Lodge No.59 were eager to see who would be graced with this prestigious honor next. With only two slots left for Honorary Membership, the Lodge was determined to choose individuals who embodied the principles of Las Vegas Freemasonry and had made a significant contribution to the craft.

Reception of the Nevada Masonic Award

With unwavering devotion and tireless effort, the Summerlin Lodge was granted a great honor, bestowed by the illustrious Grand Lodge of Nevada – the Nevada Masonic Award. This momentous occasion has kindled a flame of determination within the hearts of the brethren of Robert Burns Lodge Number Fifty-nine. From this day forth, they vow to aspire towards excellence and dedicate themselves wholeheartedly to the pursuit of this prestigious award, year after year.


The 59 celebration

As the dawn broke on January 25, 6023, the members of Robert Burns Lodge eagerly awaited the start of their first-ever Robert Burns Birthday celebration. Known as the 59 Celebration, this event held a special place in the hearts of the brethren, as it honored the birth year of the Lodge’s namesake, Robert Burns.

Strengthening the ties between Scottish Freemasonry and Nevada Freemasonry.

On the auspicious day of February 8th, 6023, the Robert Burns Lodge was graced with a momentous occasion as we were bestowed with the prestigious honor of being added to the illustrious list of observant Lodges by the Masonic Restoration Foundation. As a testament to our commitment towards the observant Lodge philosophy, we were further extended an invitation to attend the annual observant Lodge meeting, known as the symposium, to be held from March 31 to April 2, 6023. This marks a significant milestone in the history of our Lodge, as we embarked on our first ever Lodge Trip to attend this event. Las Vegas freemasonry was well represented.

Long ago, in the distant past, the first grand Lodge of 5717 organized a great feast on this very day, a tradition we shall uphold in all its glory. Come and be a part of this timeless legacy, as we embrace the majesty and splendor of our shared history.

For a mere fifty-five dollars per person, you can secure your place amongst us, to bask in the radiance of this unforgettable evening. Masons only, Entered Apprentices and Fellow Crafts are also most welcome, as we welcome all who seek to embrace the teachings of our craft.

We shall convene at the illustrious Gold Coast Casino, where the festivities shall commence at the stroke of 5pm, with a cocktail hour to set the mood. Dinner shall follow at 6pm, in a setting of unparalleled elegance and refinement.

Be forewarned, dear brother, that the event has limited seating, with a maximum capacity of 75 persons.
